Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
